| All important events in a person’s lifetime, whether birth or marriage, need to be registered under the law. This process is nothing new and has existed ever since several years although the laws of today are definitely more rigid and strict. Birth of a child is required to be registered since several years and was treated for the exact head count of the people living in the area. It did help the local governing bodies to calculate their region’s population in terms of young and old, women and men and number of children as well. The practice to register births became a law for the first time in the United Kingdom and other countries soon followed the same league. In today’s times there is hardly any country barring a very few under developed ones which do not adhere to this law. It is treated as the moral duty of citizens to get a Birth Certificate issued in which ever country they are born in. Lost birth certificates It is not a very difficult job to get a Replacement Birth Certificate made. Of course things become much easier if the birth of the child had been registered. It is also easy to recover a lost birth certificate in case the person is living in the same city or the country where he or she was born. In today’s world, however to be stationed forever at your birth place is something really rare to hear. Things are not that difficult as most of the countries have their websites which can be accessed from anywhere. Travelling to your place of birth to get a Birth Certificate or Replacement Birth Certificate sounds very odd. All the necessary forms and details can be filled up on the Internet itself. The Replacement Birth Certificate is also delivered right at home. Marriage Certificates and Replacement Marriage Certificates A marriage Certificate is a document which is a true validation of the event of marriage. In certain societies traditional marriages are performed and vows are taken to keep the culture going. The actual validity of the marriage is only considered when it is registered under the local jurisdiction. The laws which govern the issue of a marriage certificate are not the same everywhere. The basic rules however remain the same. These require both the partners to be 18 years of age or above. Failing to qualify this age barrier, a Marriage Certificate cannot be awarded, and if issued will require the intervention of the local Courts. A lost marriage certificate can be replaced on request with the authorities of the place where the event took place. Apostille Certificates and Apostille Services All the certificates which mark an important event in one’s life are issued and recognized as legal only in their country of origin. Travelling abroad however could be an eventuality in which the person is needed to produce these documents at another country where the jurisdiction is not the same. Apostille Certificates are the stamped or attested copies of these important documents which are certified by the Ministry of External Affairs of the country of origin.
